IBS, Inc. Launches #ExperienceIligan Campaign
ILIGAN CITY, PHILIPPINES, August 18, 2013 – Iligan Bloggers Society, Inc. launches #ExperienceIligan, an online campaign for Iligan City.
IBS, Inc. encourages netizens to use the hashtag #ExperienceIligan in all posts about the beauty of Iligan City. The campaign aims to mobilize the locals as well as the visitors for a unified call to action to invite other tourists and travelers around the world to experience Iligan.
The campaign takes off with the celebration of Diyandi Festival drawing near, and will continue even after the festivities. Posts on Instagram and Twitter will be curated on the IBS, Inc. website.
“We recognize the power of online media to capture the attention of potential tourists and visitors. By using the clickable hashtag #ExperienceIligan, it’s easier for people to see what the locals and visitors share about the best ways to experience Iligan,” says Lisa Marie Mirasol, the organization’s president.
With the support of the people of Iligan and the local establishments, the online campaign aims to generate hundreds of excellent tips from locals and visitors, and reach millions of people around the world via the Internet and encourage them to #ExperienceIligan.
IBS, Inc. aspires that the hashtag #ExperienceIligan will soon result in various spin-off online campaigns about Iligan City Tourism.
